Folks, we're in this for the love of independent cinema, to help foster community, and to encourage emerging talent. We're not driven by profit. But our expenses go up every year: theater rental, a step-and-repeat, awardplaques, printing, gasoline, etc. And we've lowered our submission fees for two years in a row. Sponsors are critical to our operation. We're not a nonprofit organization that receives thousands of dollars from our city and other institutions. Your support is greatly appreciated. 2026 is the 16th year we have brought daring indie genre films to Buffalo, first as Buffalo Screams Horror Film Festival, then as Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival, and now as Amazing Fantasy Fest. We were the first festival in the Queen City to recognize the importance of celebrating the work of local film artists, changing the film festival culture here forever. We do it out of love for fantastic cinema, filmmakers, our region, and you. Our goal is not to be Sundance - we're the little guys, the rebels operating on a shoestring budget, just like the filmmakers we champion, and we appreciate every sponsorship we get.
